MyCase Enhances Mobile Offering with Launch of Android App
(Santa Barbara, Calif. – Mar. 25, 2014) – MyCase, Web-based legal practice management software, today introduces a new application for Android mobile devices. MyCase became the first legal practice management software to offer a mobile solution in April 2013, with the launch of its IOS app. This latest release on Android further enhances MyCase’s solution set, offering more attorneys access to all aspects of the software’s comprehensive services at their fingertips.
MyCase is recognized as a trailblazer in the legal software industry, developing innovative technology that gives its customers a competitive edge in the legal field. As Android devices increasingly dominate the market share on smartphones, serving these users has become a crucial part of forming a truly complete legal practice management platform. MyCase remains the only all-in-one solution for Web-based legal practice management, and the new app helps the company continue to succeed in this mission.
The new Android application (like its iOS predecessor) was developed with streamlined attorney-client communication in mind. Lawyers rely heavily upon their mobile devices to accomplish legal tasks while away from the office, and efficient client communication is a top priority for attorneys on the go. MyCase will continue to optimize the mobile experience through tools such as the mobile-accessible client portal, supporting a simplified client messaging process.
MyCase founder and general manager Matt Spiegel said the new Android development is right in line with the MyCase team’s continued focus on product expansion and features that truly increase client productivity and profits through improved attorney-client communication. “By making it simple for attorneys to stay in touch with clients, the app frees law firms to focus on expanding their practices. With the addition of the Android App to the MyCase mobile portfolio, attorneys can take their practice with them wherever they go, using the mobile device of their choice.”
MyCase customer, Anastasios Garbis, Illinois patent attorney, said he anticipates the multiple benefits the new Android app will bring to his practice. “I look forward to having an easy, consistent way to message clients and manage documents when I’m outside the office. This will be a huge timesaver.”
The new MyCase Android application will be unveiled at ABA TechShow in Chicago this week and made available for download in the Google Play Store the first week of April
